Jill Gutterman’s philosophy in life is simple: Have passion for what you do and keep learning. It’s this philosophy that has been a driving force behind Jill’s forward-thinking 15+ year professional career, and what recently led her to Optum / Carrot Agency.
In 2012, Jill joined Carrot, a health and well-being agency focused on consumer engagement for United Health Group. In this role, she leads the digital efforts to help clients determine strategies to engage their customers.
Prior to joining Optum / Carrot Agency, Jill led Rasmussen College’s interactive marketing team. Focusing on ways to engage with the prospective, existing and alumni students online, Jill has innovated Rasmussen’s search marketing, website marketing, affiliates, email, social, CRM and technology programs—making recruiting and retention efforts more personal, more accessible and more reflective of Rasmussen past, present and future. Jill also developed online customer relationship-management and marketing programs while working with top industrial and consumer brands 3M Company and Target Corporation. While leading the global online vision for 3M divisions and maximizing ROI and reach, Jill was responsible for coaching, developing services and educating the organization on online marketing as corporate 3M Interactive Marketing Manager and as Integrated Marketing Manager for Safety, Security and Protection Services Division. Jill joined 3M after six years and multiple roles with Target.com. She pioneered the start of the email marketing efforts and was promoted into many roles across the growing organization for her diligence, successfully implementation and completion of projects.
Jill graduated magna cum laude from Wright State University, in Dayton, OH with a degree in psychology. Jill and her family live in Woodbury, MN where they enjoy biking, boating and bonfires.
