I Just Blogged To Say I Love You
Valentine’s Day has a host of new platforms in which to show your appreciation and affection, many of which are being pioneered by digital marketers. Here are some of our favorites to inspire your special day:
Gifts. I am seriously geeking out over the Nerd Valentine Tumblr page created by Magenta Labs that has a plethora of playful gifts to choose from. While this page has a variety of fun offerings, Pinterest allows you to create your own online wishlist. Why drop subtle hints when you can be Captain Obvious? Browse my Men’s and Women’s boards for some quick ideas.
Cards. iPhone lovers cannot miss the free Red Stamp app that features a variety of elegant and modern templates to insert your personalized messages and photos into emails, text messages, and (gasp!) paper stationery. You will look like you spent heaps of time creating the perfect Valentine. At the very least your mom will be totally impressed.
Music. Gone are the days of mixtapes, but not the sentiment behind them. Spotify allows you to cultivate a list of tunes to express your feelings. Short on time? Sit back and listen to the sweet, sweet jams I have curated for the purposes of this blog. For those who are really brave and ambitious, nothing beats a video serenade. All it takes is a webcam and a song in your heart. And on that note, I leave you with a video made just for you – Happy Valentine’s Day!
