Today's creative agency, like any business, faces a myriad of major challenges. The toughest of which is how we build teams to adapt for our clients ever changing needs. We know that throwing bodies at problems is not a financially sustainable solution for any firm, so how do we build a team that not only enables the development of great ideas, but also can deliver them in a timely and unique way.

Join us as Heath Rudduck, chief creative officer at Campbell Mithun shares his vision of creative brainpower in this new agency world and how the art and science of advertising can be brought together. What are the effects of new technologies and media on the psychology of our markets? It's one thing to have a shiny technology, but what happens when other influences have an effect on the use of it. The future is about breaking thing down, forgetting the layers and politics and getting back to why we get out of bed in the morning to create great ideas.

Biography:

Heath Rudduck, @heathrudduck, believes that more than ever our media have become inextricably bound in a complex, amorphous network -- a world where digital channels have become the connective tissue, and brands need to become empathetic, living entities that morph to survive.

Before joining Campbell Mithun in January. His career began at Y&R, and then took him to the Clemenger BBDO group in Melbourne, where he partnered in the development of Australias first interactive agency. After he formed his own integrated agency and sold it in 2000 to DDB, Heath became ECD of Tribal DDB, followed by a post as ECD at Digitas headquarters in Boston, where he was responsible for the Boston, Atlanta and Detroit offices. He has worked around the globe, with time in AsiaPac, the Middle East and Europe. His clients have included P&G brands, Olay, Crest, Gillette and Tide, Michelin, General Motors, Buick, GMC, Bank of America, Aflac Insurance, Stop 'n Shop, Goodyear, Famous Footwear and Mayo Clinic.

Heath possesses a boundless passion for possibilities for ideas fueled by the power of insights and woven into the fabric of consumers' lives. From branded-content experiences to user-generated social campaigns, Heath believes that just like him, Everything Talks. And creating immersive, engaging experiences is about bringing theatre back to brands, enabling them to find their voice in the modern communication landscape.

But at the end of the day he's just a regular bloke, who really loves what he does. A lot.
