The Future of Search: A Holistic View

Search engines are becoming more powerful each day, as innovation and technology struggle to keep up with each other and the growing tide of Internet surfers seeking information online.  Searchers are becoming increasingly less satisfied with traditional search engine listings, and the engines are responding by offering a growing variety of result formats including videos, images, news stories, and blog posts.

Representatives from major search engines will be on hand to offer their view of the future of search results.  From Paid Search listings to Organic or “Natural” Search results to inclusion via product feeds, marketers have a variety of ways to appear within the search engine results. 

How will marketers leverage search engines in a holistic manner, in order to ensure they can be found in each possible type of listing?  Will personalization signal the end of traditional “best practices” search engine optimization techniques being effective? How do search engines plan on updating the way they present information to searchers in the future?  Will Google ever be overtaken as the undisputed leader in the U.S. market?  If not, do the other engines plan on focusing on verticals and niche searches?

These and other questions from the moderator and audience will help to provide attendees with a crystal ball in which to view the future of search.
