Atomic, a Twin Cities based integrated, full-service digital agency, seeks an experienced Account Director.
The Account Director is a full-time position in a fast-paced, digital, interactive and marketing communications agency environment. The position requires someone who is capable of client management, business development, and helping drive strategically-driven solutions. In addition, this position will require certain leadership, partnership, motivation, and joint effort with other staff. Candidates must possess exceptional communications skills, the ability to lead a team, play well with others, exacting attention to detail and proven ability to manage and grow client business.
This is a key position for Atomic with plenty of opportunity for growth. Only individuals with solid experience in digital, interactive and integrated marketing communications account management need apply.
Strategy Development: Participates in the development and presentation of creative, technology, media and research strategies; contribute to competitive analysis and reviews in order to understand client’s brand and industry. Is a strong strategic thinker that can bring value to the agency and the client.
Client Relationship Management: Responsible for the long-term relationship between the client and the company. Must be competent and capable in working at the C-level with clients
Business Development: Ability to quickly build professional relationships that lead to business growth opportunities within assigned accounts and able to work with agency leadership on cultivating and winning new business for the agency.
Response / Retention Activity: This includes incoming client requests, following up internally to ensure client requests are completed, making sure any client issues are responded to by the team in a client focused manner.
Proposal / Presentation Development: Ability to make a case for a client’s need and present the appropriate recommendations for that need.
Team Development: Able to mentor and grow assigned account service team.
Financial Stewardship: Proven ability to manage client projects towards profitable returns for the agency and able to forecast and manage future client work within the agency.
7-10 years of experience for a marketing/advertising agency with strong emphasis placed on digital/interactive (BA in relevant field of study preferred).
Prior experience with online brand development, internal and external experience, social, SEO, SEM, mobile, e-Marketing, online applications and integrated marketing communications strategy.
Excellent teamwork, organization and communications skills (oral and written) required.
