BestBuy.com, as a division of Best Buy Co, Inc, operates the online channel for the U.S. Best Buy brand. The division is responsible for delivering an online experience that translates our store experience onto the web. The division manages all aspects associated with running the channel, including site merchandising, marketing, operations, and order management/fulfillment. The Associate Manager, Online Marketing will be responsible for the analysis, development and execution of online marketing initiatives with a focus on personalization capabilities. The role maintains multiple cross-functional relationships across all levels of BestBuy.com, Digital Marketing, Enterprise Marketing, Customer Relationship Marketing and 3rd party vendors; providing online marketing expertise and knowledge sharing of BestBuy.com's capability as a channel and as an input to enterprise projects, initiatives and strategies. Marketing Management & Execution Develop and manage strategies for personalization to enhance the user experience and drive customer retention Monitor results and leverage data and insights to optimize the personalization capability Partner with internal developers and technical teams to build online capabilities Establish and maintain partnerships with cross-functional teams to optimize online marketing initiatives across the enterprise Support management and execution of other online marketing functions including online sales and social integration Vision, Strategy, Planning Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Online Marketing on development of marketing plans Collaborate with cross functional business teams to develop recommendations for new BestBuy.com initiatives and marketing tests Gather competitive data, identify industry trends and develop strategies that deliver innovative features and functions surrounding targeted testing that drive to online growth

 

  • Basic Qualifications:
    -5 or more years of online marketing experience in optimizing online conversion
    -5 or more years of e-Commerce experience supporting online business growth (client or agency side)
    -3 or more years of web analytics and customer insights experience
    Experience in identifying, evaluating, and recommending technology and marketing strategies to meet user and business needs within scope and budget
    -Proven ability to build effective relationships and navigate a matrix environment

 

  • Preferred Qualifications:
    -BA, in Business/Marketing or related MBA
    -Excellent business judgment, outstanding customer insight and great analytical skills
    -Strong interpersonal skills, highly organized, detail oriented and able to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization
