Best Buy is seeking skilled web engineers to join our agile development team and help build innovative, responsive and scalable online and multi-channel shopping experiences across Best Buy's web properties. A successful candidate will be highly proficient in developing rich interactive user experiences, with the ambition to continuously learn more. Qualified candidates will also have a well-rounded background in Agile web software development and have the technical chops to be able to coach and mentor others.

- Find UI bugs and eliminate them. Cleaning up old and broken code should rank high on your list of therapeutic activities
- Share. We operate in a highly Agile environment, and you will frequently pair other team members. We want you to share your expertise, making everyone else better and facilitating continuous learning
- Oversee and guide resolution of complex problems and recurring issues
STANDARDS AND BEST PRACTICES:
- Create reusable processes, components and tools that others can leverage to accelerate progress
- Stay up to date on the latest technology trends and techniques - and be prepared to propose new ideas when there is strong business value
- Provide thought leadership and group facilitation around shared standards and drive to adoption across teams
- Conduct code review sessions
