Digital Marketing Product Manager (651) 289-0725 CotterWeb  

This individual will lead CotterWeb’s product development and program management to assure a robust and vibrant online rewards club.  This role manages the development of new products that drive member acquisition and retention, leveraging web 2.0 and social media best practices.

 

Responsibilities Include:

 

Product Management & Development

 

·         Lead CotterWeb brand strategy development, own the consumer value proposition and the product and services offered to our members

·         Manage the market research function, developing a thorough understanding of our members and their motivations.  Direct competitive analysis and market studies to assure CotterWeb remains competitive and relevant in the marketplace.

·         Direct the product development process from end to end, including idea generation, concept development and approval, and launch execution.

·         Manage the planning, scheduling and execution of programs on time, on target and on budget though effective planning, logistics and implementation.

·         Develop integrated member communication strategy via online channels to increase member lifetime value through better targeted communication throughout their lifecycle and manages execution within the organization by collaborating with marketing team members and other departments.

·         Support new member acquisition by identifying new tactics to acquire members, collaborating with member acquisition team on creative messages and member acquisition strategies.

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

 

§  Ability to collaborate and communicate with influence to a variety of people across the organization, including senior management; confidently convey and maintain a point of view under pressure.

§  Excellent interpersonal and team communication skills; includes written, oral, and formal presentations

§  Strong influencing skills - ability to set the tone for change and inspire others to want the same results

§  Must be self-motivated with an ability to take initiative in a challenging, fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize many tasks across various teams within the organization

§  Excellent project management skills

§  Demonstrated ability and experience working in the online media/digital marketing industry.

§  Ability to work and deliver under tight deadlines and manage several projects concurrently.

§  Ability to learn and adapt quickly to industry and company specific concepts and terminology.

 

Education and Experience Required:

 

§  BS degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field, MBA desirable

§  5+ years of experience in online marketing, with expertise in online channels - email, web site, blogs, social media

§  Experience in all aspects of strategic marketing, brand development and tactical executions

§  5+ years database/email marketing experience
