The Digital Marketing Specialist at Life Time Fitness is a key position responsible for driving traffic to our website using paid placements within the digital channel. Responsibilities: * Develop and execute paid digital initiatives to meet established lead generation and conversion goals, target CPA, budget and other performance metrics. * Optimize all paid campaigns to increase traffic, decrease costs and increase conversions by managing bids, ad copy, keyword usage and other optimization tools. * Partners with marketing planners from internal businesses and works with them to develop campaign strategy that meet the needs of their business. * Coordinates placements with the Social Media Manager to leverage opportunities within the social channel. * Socialize best practices and educate internal businesses on the benefits and/or risks. * Develop and maintain digital marketing performance reports for internal marketing teams and businesses. * Research and present competitive positions and best practices in the marketplace. Education: * 4-year degree in Marketing, Business or related field Experience: * At least 2 years of a hands-on direct PPC/SEM campaign launch and optimization managing spending of $100K+ per month. * Proficient in working with 3rd party applications and tools (e.g., AdWords Editor, DoubleClick. AdCenter, Kenshoo and/or Marin software) * Only candidates with digital marketing experience will be considered Licenses / Certifications / Registration: * None Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics: * Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills. * Familiarity with long tail keywords, geo-targeting, bidding strategies. * Exceptional Excel skills, proficiency with Microsoft Powerpoint, Word and Outlook * Experience managing 100s of thousands of keywords in Google and Bing with a monthly budget in excess of $100K. * Excellent communication skills & an interest in working with multidisciplinary teams. * Self-directed, proactive and a strong attention to detail * Ability to multi-task while staying focused on details * Bachelor's or Master's degree in a marketing or quantitative discipline
