The Star Tribune is seeking a Project Manager for its Digital Group. This person acts as project manager for digital initiatives and cross-enterprise projects.

The successful candidate is an open-minded problem solver with excellent attention to detail, a willingness to learn and a drive to create the best interactive experiences. This candidate must be well organized and a self-starter with a positive outlook and a passion for all things digital.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the development of requirements and specifications for digital initiatives.
• Develop project plans to include task lists and timelines using standard project management methods.
• Provide communication that ensures clarity of expectations and issues and supports the attainment of goals/mission within deadline.
• Facilitate project team meetings and related activities which foster cooperation, high productivity and strong communication between team members and stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain effective business relationships with external service providers.
• Work with technology teams to identify and design new tools and systems to improve efficiency.
