The Walser marketing department is looking for anindividual who can code AND design. This person is motivated with proven ability to create email images, web layouts and assist with production oriented coding and design projects. We need someone who can multitask, adapt to changing priorities and work well on our small team as this is a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

·         Design, develop and maintain new and existing web sites, landing pages and html email templates. Create original design solutions as well as work from reference materials.

·         Create banner ads and web page elements for placement on third party sites.

·         Design and develop basic mobile sites and mobile landing pages.

·         Perform website content maintenance and upgrades to enhance user experience and SEO.

·         Audit and improve site tagging as well other SEO and analytics related maintenance.

Hours

Monday – Friday, full time.

Compensation

Annual Salary (DOE).

Minimum Qualifications

·         Degree from recognized design/ web development institution.

·         Two plus years experience in web design and development.

·         Knowledge of website architecture requirements for effective user experience and SEO.

·         Ability to interpret and comply with corporate graphic identity standards.

·         Superior organizational and time management skills.

·         Advanced skills with HTML, CSS, Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver.

·         Expertise with JavaScript, WordPress, Content Management Systems and Adobe Creative Suite.

·         Working knowledge of Flash and MS SharePoint is a plus.

Ideal Qualifications:

·         Knowledgeable in web standards and browser compatibility.

·         Solid understanding of server-side web application technology.

·         Writes clean, organized code.

·         Has a portfolio that contains at least 5 pieces of representative work.

·         Experience with but not dependency on 3rd party libraries (e.g Prototype, jQuery, Mootools, Script.aculo.us).

·         SEO, internet marketing knowledge.
