Responsibilities

•Work collaboratively with team members to create sites that are user-friendly

• Present and communicate the thinking behind what you have built

• Create front end code that is innovative, user-friendly, and effective for a variety of environments

• Produce CSS/JavaScript/HTML using industry best practices and web standards

• Take direction from both information architects and our visual design team

• Help our teams problem solve interactions and experiences

• Create prototypes that leverage PHP and MYSQL Qualifications

• Comfortable with an iterative development environment

• Able to take ownership and show initiative to carry design from start to finish

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite

• Proficient in CSS/HTML/JS

• Proficient with writing JavasSript from scratch, and proficient with jQuery

• Solid skills in PHP and MYSQL

• 4-8 years of experience

• Able to demonstrate a solid understanding of web standards and development best practices

• Understand visual design and able to interpret it into front end code.

• Good sense of aesthetics

• Understand SEO and accessibility
