The Global Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategy, tactical implementation, and management of the digital strategy, lead generation initiatives, and websites for Imation’s portfolio of brands (Imation, Memorex and TDK Life on Record). Strategic work will include the evaluation and establishment of a robust digital marketing / CRM strategy to support Imation’s expansion into new security and scalable storage businesses within the Imation brand.
The Global Digital Marketing Manager is expected to be a leader that will build and shape digital capabilities within the company. Incumbent will lead internal education and keep the organization abreast of emerging trends, opportunities along with value added insights to drive the business. The successful candidate will have a proven pedigree in digital thought leadership, cross-team leadership and cross-team collaboration & innovation.
Responsibilities:
-Drive the vision and thought leadership on how to best reach our customers through the ever changing digital channel. This includes developing strategies and best practices on how to build the business with digital platforms and initiatives
-Design and execute digital marketing campaign strategies tailored for numerous core audiences and segments including consumers, enterprise, small business and mid-market segments, & IT business decision makers. Areas include: lead generation, social media, email segmentation marketing, awareness, loyalty and satisfaction
-Partner with cross-functional teams (product, brand and IT) to maximize current trends in digital marketing including marketing automation, SEO, SEM, CRM and social media, to enable the global Imation commercial and consumer businesses meet or exceed business goals.
-Augment and support strategic business objectives by infusing digital innovation and recommendations into broader marketing plans.
-Develop customer-centric best-practices for digital user engagement
-Advance our ability to assess and optimize digital media performance for our media investment. Process and protocol oversight and tracking of site performance metrics
-Assess the current digital environment and operating practices, building on an internal assessment. Conduct a gap analysis from best practices and recommend an operating model that will deliver streamlined, scalable and repeatable processes in collaboration with IT
-Establish governance structure to ensure appropriate oversight over digital activities to ensure cross-functional alignment and support for programs. This may include, but is not limited to lead management, social media management, intersection with cross-functional teams, etc.
