TITLE: Integrated Traffic Manager
DEPARTMENT: Production
ACCOUNTABLE TO: Director of Production Operations
JOB SUMMARY:
To provide the Production Department with professional traffic management. This includes getting all media assets delivered to media outlets in a timely manner, interacting with radio stations, television stations and websites to ensure Martin|Williams’ spots and online media run according to schedule. The candidate will insure the smooth and efficient flow of all media and media placement by assisting Producers and Media Buyers. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage the traffic process and organize a marketing campaign with various traffic vendors.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Manages and traffics all radio, online and television projects at Martin|Williams.
· Trafficks all radio and television spots, working closely with Martin|Williams media buying and account management staff. Produces instructions, ordering/delivering dubs and billboards, communicating with stations to follow up on requests or to troubleshoot.
· Manages all online campaigns in the DART trafficking system and other assigned rich media vendor systems.
· Gathers and outlines production specifications for all online advertising campaigns.
· Uploads and tests creative files in the DART system.
· Works with account management, media and production to obtain rotation information on a timely basis; stay informed about changes in production timing as it affects media scheduling.
· Stays current with rich media vendor options and online industry trends.
· Utilizes effective conflict resolution in sometimes stressful situations in order to maintain effective working relationships.
· Maintains media assets, creative database, schedules, status reports and other documents for accurate and efficient handling of each client.
· Orders miscellaneous dubs (including tapes, CD’s, MP3’s, Quicktime’s, etc.) for clients, broadcast, account management, and creative staff.
· Assigns ISCI codes and maintains broadcast database to track, ISCI codes and master lists.
· Reviews all new creative work with Producers to facilitate network clearance process - sending scripts, rough cuts, and final spots to appropriate clearance personnel and getting feedback from networks to account people for substantiation.
· Informs Talent Coordinator of current cycles for all clients; keep accurate records.
· Determines most efficient/effective methods of distribution (dub houses, slide services), photoboard production and scheduling distribution (e.g., Traffic Channel) and manages relationships with outside vendors.
· Reviews stored broadcast materials with account management yearly; coordinates transfer or destruction with broadcast production.
· Performs other essential duties as assigned from time to time to meet the changing needs of Martin|Williams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· College degree in business or related field.
· 2 - 4 years experience in broadcast or online traffic management.

· Ability to understand how each department relates to Production traffic.
· Skill in word processing, spreadsheet, or other software and the ability to learn other computer software packages.
· Skill in handling details with accuracy along with knowledge of administrative procedures.
· Skill with interpersonal relationships and ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff and outside contacts.
· Skill in organizing and prioritizing of work, and following assignments through to completion.
· Skill in written and verbal communication.

· Ability to understand and follow standard agency procedures.
· Ability to utilize diplomacy and tact when dealing with internal and external customers.
· Ability to be flexible, adaptable to change, work well under pressure and with a sense of urgency.
· Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and frequent interruptions.
