Interactive Developer (PHP) Cambria

Cambria is seeking a well-rounded PHP Developer to join our growing Interactive Marketing team. As a key member to the Marketing department, you will develop a variety of client facing solutions leveraging custom code and open source CMS/E-Commerce platforms. The ability to elegantly multi-task projects in a fast-paced digital environment while collaborating effectively with team members is a must.

 Responsibilities 

  • Development and implementation of internal and client-facing applications
  • Maintain and enhance existing PHP code
  • Migrate preexisting ColdFusion applications to PHPstack
  • Development of mobile and tablet optimized solutions
  • Develop custom components for Magento E-Commerce platform
  • Limited technical documentation (Use Cases, Workflows, Data Diagrams)
  • Application debugging and quality assurance
  • Maintenance of code library and version control platform

 Required Skills 

  • 5+ years of PHP development experience
  • 3+ years database design and development (MySQL, MSSQL, SQL lite)
  • 3+ years experience with common MVC frameworks (Zend, Cake, CI)
  • Web API integrations (SOAP, REST)
  • Front-end development (HTML,HTML5, CSS, JS)
  • Common JavaScript libraries (JQuery)
  • W3C standards and cross-browser compatibility
  • Version control platforms (GitHub, Subversion)
  • Working knowledge of both Apache and IIS

 Qualifications 

  • Degree in related discipline or 5+ years of demonstrated working experience
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Demonstrated planning and organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic and sense of urgency
  • Proven ability to problem solve and think critically
  • Ability to work on-site for 40 hrs+ per week
