Position Summary:

Web designer/front-end developer with a passion for design and front-end development. This position will be responsible for design of: display advertising, promotional campaigns, site banners, email campaigns, and landing pages for Web and mobile user interfaces as well as participating in strategic input on projects as appropriate.

This is a full-time, in-house position. Please send portfolio showcasing your designs with detailed descriptions of the role you played developing the sites in your portfolio. Only applications including all aforementioned element will be considered.

Required Skills

·         Develop and maintain an understanding of the client’s business needs as they relate to creative work

·         Designs that are on target and maintain a level of creativity that continually raises the bar for all projects.

·         Information design, ability to organize lots of complex information in a way that is simple, user-friendly, logical, clear and elegant

·         Good understanding of user experience

·         Plan projects with partners and create wireframes and design mockups when needed

·         Educate other departments on importance and trends in front-end development

·         Identify relevant emerging technologies

·         Build consensus between creative and IT

·         Help define additional team roles as needed

Required Experience

3+ years experience with following technologies:

·         CSS

·         HTML

·         Javascript

·         JQuery

3+ years experience:

·         Ensuring cross-browser compatibility

·         Optimizing code and assets for performance

·         Creating & maintaining semantic, W3C-compliant webpages

·         Identifying and implementing best-practices

·         Working closely with designers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation

Additional experience with:

·         Flash/ActionScript

·         508 compliance

·         Responsive design
