Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated, service-minded interactive media specialist to join the media team as an Interactive Media Analyst responsible for leading the charge in developing new media campaigns and integrated online media solutions for our clients. The Interactive Analyst will be a part of a team responsible for interactive media planning, management, execution, reporting effectiveness and optimizing media campaigns. This includes vendor management, industry research, procurement and business development in support of media solutions within Jobs2web.

The Media Analyst will be highly organized, technology savvy and excel in cultures that have a variety of personalities and business units. This individual will have the ability to prioritize work and contribute to managing effective media campaigns and client relationships. Important skills will be to excel with minimal supervision and demonstrate exemplary follow-through skills. This role manages various facets of the business and requires a personable, professional and results-oriented attitude. This individual will work closely with the interactive media team, media partners, clients and client service to provide industry leading best practice leadership in the online advertising area.

This individual will be accountable for interactive media management initiatives, with a strong focus on campaign management, planning and optimization. These initiatives will follow Jobs2web best practices and must consider interactive (web 2.0) processes and infrastructure improvements to drive media campaigns. These practices will benefit the recruitment strategies and performance of Jobs2web client media campaigns.

The Media Analyst will participate on cross-functional teams responsible for developing and implementing strategic media engagements that may include social media, content networks, job boards, niche job sites, online communities, online news sites, online magazines, industry groups, mobile media, blogs and other online technology partnerships.

The Media Analyst will continuously improve Jobs2web client media campaign offerings by identifying trends in media performance, driving cost effective and analytically supported optimizations, and improve client ROI by test new and emerging, cost-effective media.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Media Management

  • Execute and understand media vendor selection metrics and success factors.
  • Ensure compliance Jobs2web media management policies and best practices.
  • Continually assess media market conditions and develop procurement strategies that maximize value to Jobs2web and clients.
  • Analyze media market trends and conditions that affect vendors, cost of media, rate cards, and the resulting impact on clients.
  • Develop methods to learn from campaign data, and adapt internal processes to increase efficiency with external media partners.
  • Management of special projects for department initiatives as requested. Media Planning
  • Identify and prepare detailed online media plans on scope, on time and on budget
  • Evaluate media partner ROI analyses to identify opportunities to reduce total cost of online recruitment media dollars.
  • Meet with internal teams on a regular basis to collaborate on optimum approaches to strengthen media campaigns
  • Research and implement “best practices” for media campaigns, including supporting technologies related to online media and recruitment.
  • Monitor delivery trends and other KPI’s to provide recommendations for future media plans.

    Relationship Management

  • Prepare and execute clear, structured negotiations following established Jobs2web business partner and sourcing methodology
  • Communicate and report to management the status of any critical media partnerships that could affect planning and decision-making.
  • Provide proactive contributions and customer support to the sales, client services and operations teams, responding to client requests and special projects as necessary.
  • Demonstrate exemplary integrity and ethics in all instances according to Jobs2web.
  • Participate in career development activities to keep abreast of current industry best practices.

    Source Development

  • Research, develop and execute media partnerships with suppliers that focus on quality, responsiveness and cost effectiveness.
  • Manage online sourcing database to maximize media planning opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional sourcing projects that meet the client’s requirements.
  • Leverage multiple data sources, metrics, research to provide business recommendations.

    What you'll need - Required Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, communications or other rigorous discipline.
  • 2-4 years interactive media sales and/or online media planning and buying.
  • Strong organization, presentation and interpersonal skills and experience in working directly with customers to rapidly plan media solutions
  • Ability to multi-task, and manage multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, proven relationship management experience and excellent organizational ability with close attention to detail and process
  • Ability to work efficiently and prioritize as necessary and work with operations to prioritize their activities successfully
  • Solid media planning discipline and interactive expertise
  • Positive and proactive work ethic, “can-do” attitude with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to be both a collaborative team player as well as strong self-starter and individual contributor comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment

    What you'll need - Desired Skills

  • Previous recruiting/HR experience and previous SaaS/technology experience
  • Interactive media planning and/or media management experience supporting a full range of interactive channels in a corporate or agency environment, preferably in the HR/Recruiting space
  • Adserving (DART, Adwords etc.), Media Planning & SEM tools a plus
  • Familiarity with SEO research tools/methodology and an understanding of technical and functional design (HTML and CSS design) is preferred, but not required
