Job Summary for Interactive Strategist

The Interactive Strategist (IS) develops strategies for our clients to better reach and engage with their audience(s). He / she will partner with clients and prospects to understand their brand, business model, products & services and business objectives. From there the Interactive Strategist is responsible for framing up a well-defined interactive strategy to achieve those objectives, constructing a tactical roadmap with clear success metrics (KPIs) to ensure a measurable experience.


The IS has the expertise and passion to follow the trends and the innovations in the interactive space; they are the key catalyst for driving insight, integration and activation of interactive solutions for our clients. 


Essential Functions

•Discover and document our client’s goals and focus our relationship on those goals

•Define measurement plans (i.e. KPIs, web analytics, social media monitoring, surveys, etc.) for our clients’ goals, across all mediums

•Evaluate, research, and recommend appropriate  digital solutions for a given client objective

•Document and demonstrate tactics using site maps, directional wireframes, and low-fidelity prototypes

•Envision and present technically feasible solutions grounded in client business objectives for new business opportunities and existing client opportunities

•Experience creating social media strategies

•Ability to articulate and explain technically complex solutions to non-technical audiences

•Collaborate with Design to create high-fidelity prototypes

•Be a voice for the online consumer, ensuring solutions we create are relevant, intuitive and EFFECTIVE

•Collaborate with designers and technologists to create intuitive and comprehensive solutions 

•Write client facing, professional points of view and presentations

•Identify audience engagement strategies

•Experience with web content management systems

•Experience evaluating a site’s effectiveness as viewed by search engines

•Review and recommend changes to content strategy

•Proactively identify interactive opportunities for clients

•Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and to the client

•Work independently to a defined budget

•Mentor and share experiences throughout the Innovation Team and the company


Other Functions

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience in client services


Education, Experience and Other Skills

•4+ years experience in creating new solutions in the fields of interactive / digital marketing

•A degree in a related field, such as communications or marketing

•Stay abreast of advances on the web (both technical and experiential) and look for ways to appropriately integrate these advances into new solutions
