We are seeking qualified candidates for the role of Director of SEO at BuyFun.com, one of the largest and fastest growing ecommerce companies in the Midwest.  Candidates should be entrepreneurial, passionate and thrive in a fast-paced environment.  The individual should have at 3-7 years of direct working experience with SEO and must show a track record of success.  E-commerce experience is a plus but not a requirement.  This is an ideal work environment for a search professional, with motivated and intelligent employees, a complete buy-in on SEO initiatives (our CEO is an SEO expert himself), and products that our customers are passionate about.

Responsibilities:

·         Develop and manage execution of customer acquisition plans through organic search on multiple web properties.

·         Develop KPI’s as it relates to customer acquisition.

·         Lead and develop a high performance search marketing team to ensure we are a best-in-class SEO organization. 

·         Set forth projects for cross-functional initiatives including content, design, and programming.

·         Stay on top of industry trends and apply strategize to leverage landscape changes and potential issues/opportunities.

·         Analyze portfolio of websites and their SERP competitors.  Develop on and off-page projects to gain market share.

·         Oversee social media and content marketing activities with a focus on improving search traffic, revenues directly from social, and brand building.

·         Help to build a company culture of SEO through education and process improvements to incorporate SEO into activities of other departments.

Position Requirements:

·         Ability to motivate teams

·         Proven track record of delivering results through SEO

·         Deep understanding of Web Analytics

·         CRO experience is a plus
