Marketing Administrative Assistant C.H. Robinson

-Responsible for day to day department operations – ordering supplies, answering phones, delivering mail, responding to emails, scheduling meetings and conference calls, and planning travel for management. Manage calendar for Director of Marketing.

-Responsible for inbound requests and phone calls from branches, providing a high level of customer service.

-Manages budgetingand invoicing process accurately and on time. Provides status of marketing expenses on an ongoing basis to Director of Marketing and Marketing Managers.

-Oversee the trade show scheduling process for branch offices.

-Owner of department intranet portal – updates and maintains team sites, maintains vendor information, and coordinates featured announcements scheduling

-Manages inventory of all sales-related materials and fulfillment through vendors

-Updating marketing website content – directory changes, ads, copy, etc.

-Manage department mailings for customer, carrier and internal communications.

-Coordinate documentation of trademarks with legal vendors

-Helps schedule and plan events and off-sites for the department

-Manages subscriptions to magazines, phone systems, scanning terminal, On-Hold messaging, etc.

-Assist with the registration, preparation and administration of customer events

-Other duties as assigned
 
 -1-3 years relevant experience, such as marketing/communications, PR, or other corporate experience

-Preferred education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

-Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook

-Adaptability to learn new technology and computer skills quickly

-Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral

-Extremely thorough, with follow through to completion of tasks

-High level of attention to detail

-Self-motivator, self-starter, proactive, and strong self-discipline

-Multitasking capabilities and prioritization skills

-Displays a high level of professionalism

-Team player with “can do” attitude

-Knowledge of or background in the transportation industry a plus
