Job Description:

In coordination with other Banner Business Analysts (BAs) and project leaders, this person is responsible for the successful design and implementation of marketing infrastructure, software, systems and processes to serve content in print and electronic format to a variety of global audiences. Teams with IT, Sales, Engineering, and Operations departments in projects that impact top-line sales growth and contribute to corporate strategies.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop working relationships with a diverse group of people and gain an understanding of the complex nature of Banner's business and systems.
  • Define marketing information systems requirements and work closely with IT and user departments.
  • Develop plans and budgets, and manage projects for new marketing systems and improvements.
  • Train and communicate marketing system developments to users and department leaders.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) or super users in their functional area.
  • Act as the business liaison between the business community and the information technology team.
  • Assume responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other BAs, SMEs and management across the organization.
  • Assume responsibility for acquiring and maintaining knowledge of Banner’s business processes.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Business, Computer Science or related field required.  Marketing experience is a plus.
  • Experience with content management systems, sales systems (CRM and leads tracking), web site infrastructure and maintenance.
  • Experience with integrating desktop publishing and database publishing.
  • 3 to 5 years project management experience.  Technical project management and team coordination experience.
  • Oracle experience is preferred.

 

Skills/Abilities:

  • Technically savvy with a solid understanding of database concepts, workflow software and internet technology.
  • Results oriented individual with the ability to deliver quality, on-time results.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Must be well organized, efficient, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as a member of a team.
  • Presentation and training skills.
