The MIMA programming committee is ramping up for the 2012 Summit and 2012-2013 monthly events. If you're looking for a way to get more involved with MIMA, flex the muscles of your interactive expertise network or have a major impact in the events we produce, please join us! Committee purpose: To produce engaging, educational and innovative events for the MIMA community.

Expectations of committee members: 

- Take initiative and follow through on assigned tasks/projects

- Represent MIMA appropriately to prospective speakers and other external audiences

- Listen to fellow members and event attendees about their thoughts regarding programming, and bring feedback to the committee accordingly

- Bring fresh ideas for speakers and panelists

- Be realistic and communicative about your time availability, interests and strengths so that the committee can use you to our best ability

- Commit to researching and reaching out to prospective speakers, scheduling conference calls and generally preparing speakers/panelists for successful presentations/workshops

- Attend the majority of scheduled committee meetings unless otherwise arranged with committee chair

Committee meetings:

Monthly on Mondays or Tuesdays from 6-7:30 pm

Location is usually in Northeast or downtown Minneapolis
