Online Marketing/Social Media Manager  

The Online Marketing Manager is responsible for the development, execution, and ongoing maintenance of assigned online marketing programs including social media programs, email marketing, websites, and other tactics that enhance the online presence of Wealth Management. This position will become an internal social media ambassador and work closely with the marketing team, Corporate Marketing, and the Internet and Mobile Channel Group to aggressively grow Wealth Management's social media presence. This hands-on role with be critical to the success of email marketing and social media channels in helping to create awareness and support new business development activities.
 

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Journalism, Communications or equivalent
- Seven or more years of marketing experience with at least three years of online marketing
- High level of competence with Omniture and Google analytics tools
- Thorough knowledge of assigned geographical area, competitive market, banking operations, and U.S. Bancorp's products and services
- Solid understanding of online marketing channels (social media, search, email marketing, website, etc.) and direct marketing principles
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios
- Strong understanding of e-mail marketing operations, technology, and platforms
- Experience working with both in-house and outside creative resources

- Effective verbal, written and communication skills-focus on copy/contentfor online channel
- Basic HTML and graphics experience
- Good organizational and project management skills
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and creative skills
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to influence and persuade others
-Ability to execute programs on-time and on-budget in a fast-paced environment
