Position:  New Business

 

Digital Agency is looking for an entry level person to play a key role on our Sales and Account Management team. The agency does a wide range of marketing/digital agency and technical development work for clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to well-funded local start-ups. The individual must be very driven, extremely competitive, and highly dedicated to achieving excellence, yet possess the rare form of charisma and approachability that draws people to them.   A background in selling complex technology projects is a plus.

 

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting Emails & Sales Database Management
  • Proposal Preparation (direct, RFP, etc.)
  • Presentation Preparation (hard copy, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Sales Strategy/Pitch Development
  • Market Research & Client Needs Analysis
  • Client Solution Development
  • Proof-Reading (proposals, client deliverables, etc.)
  • Whatever it takes for the agency and the individual to be highly successful

 

Requirements

  • Charismatic, polished, outgoing and approachable
  • Excellent communication skills (in-person, phone, email, especially formal writing)
  • Excellent presentation skills (from hard-copy and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to think on your feet and learn quickly
  • Creative thinker to assist in formulating client solutions
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently (self-motivated)
  • Committed to excellence, regardless of the task
  • Strong desire/drive to do what it takes to be very successful
  • Sales-related or other applicable experience
  • Frequent internet/technology user, web savvy
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Advertising Agency/Web related technical knowledge is a very big plus
  • Bachelors degree (preferably in Business/Marketing
