Nina Hale Inc is a fast-paced and growing search engine marketing agency located in Minneapolis. Our team of 20 focuses on measurable SEO / PPC / Google Analytics directly with clients. We also partner with several agencies in town to provide SEO and SEM.

Nina Hale, Inc is currently seeking a full-time Search Marketing Manager. This is an executional position as well as strategic and client-facing. However we often will assign teams to work on projects, with people having specific specialties such as link-building, technical SEO, media planning, etc.

Ideally we are looking for a person with both PPC and SEO expertise. But if you have expertise in only one, we’d still like to speak with you.

Key Responsibilities

  • In many instances, act as the key point of contactfor clients.
    • Integrate SEO and Paid Placement into client marketing plans.
    • Create strategic roadmaps for lead generation / eComm growth incorporating tactics of search, social for search, and PR for viral/link building.
  • Work alone, or with internal specialist teams to develop, implement, report, and analyze PPC campaigns top to bottom across multiple web sites and channels. Strong knowledge and background in metrics and results-driven optimization is vital.
  • Using direct tools (such as the Google AdWords interface) and 3rd Party bid/campaign management software, optimize and manage PPC campaigns.
  • Identify and create plans for SEO projects or maintenance, including link-building, keyword research, content enhancements, technical architecture improvements.
    • Use 3rd party tools and reporting engines to track, analyze and report on SEO results.
  • Identify, recommend & implement new landing pages for A/B testing on engines and oversee the process (with outside developers and designers) and results.
  • Work with project manager to create and ensure timely delivery of project schedules.
  • Report developing search trends and opportunities to internal team and clients, with occasional authorship of POV’s (Point of View) documents.
  • Work with sales staff on new client pitches or rfps.
  • Summarize and communicate the status of all campaigns with appropriate internal and external contacts.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical focus.
  • A firm understanding of interactive marketing and online media strategy.
  • Written and verbal communication skills, and client skills.
  • The ability to work independently as well as with a team in a fast paced, goal-oriented environment.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and decision making.
  • Extreme attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Self-starter approach to work, with a positive attitude, to consistently meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility.
  • Experience with PPC Management & Web Analytics tools.
  • Experience in strategic planning of, or execution of SEO projects.
  • Google certified for at least one: (Google Adwords Professional, Google Display, Google Analytics, Reporting).
  • 3+ years hands-on experience with SEO, SEM, campaign promotions, A/B testing, bid management.

Search is complex and fluid. This is all we do; all day, every day.
