The Senior Business Consultant partners with client teams to help them plan and operationalize new products and services including those delivered via a digital platform (web/mobile). Qualified candidates will be experienced with service and product design methodologies and demonstrate strong skills and experience in online product development and in at least three of the following areas:

• ·         Business strategy and planning
• ·         Business analysis
• ·         Design thinking for new products and services
• ·         Process analysis and design
• ·         Business case development
• ·         Requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation Interactive/Online strategy  (web/mobile/social)
• ·         Change management

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• ·         Accurately identify and create effective framing of client business problem(s) to be solved
• ·         Define project scope and key tasks
• ·         Gather and evaluate all necessary business, process and/or system requirements
• ·         Plan and/or conduct primary and secondary research
• ·         Conduct process, data, or requirements analysis
• ·         Conduct stakeholder and SME interviews
• ·         Define and develop effective strategy, planning, analysis,  and definition deliverables
  • o   Identify the right documentation format or tools to meet task need (slide decks, project charters, Visio process flows, use cases, BRD documents, etc.)
  • o   Create deliverables at the appropriate level of detail for intended audience
• ·         Facilitate small and large group meetings
• ·         Provide project management support for individual or multi-consultant client engagements as required, including:
  • o   Development and execution of project plans, consistent internal and client communications, and change control 
  • o   Ensure profitable task performance
  • o   Adhere to internal PM Administration and Resource Management processes
  • o   Hold team members and external vendors accountable for on-time, high quality outcomes
  • o   Facilitate project and team decision making to achieve project objectives and schedules 

Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

• ·        BA/BS in Business, Organization Development or a related field.  MBA preferred
• ·        7+ years experience in product design and development, business and/or systems analysis, clinical operations  or organization change management,
• ·        Experience working with online products and services.
• ·        At least 2 years in a consulting environment
• ·        Strong analytical, data gathering and organizational skills
• ·        Strong communication and relationship-building skills in a client setting
• ·        Strong oral and written communication; can describe problems and present findings concisely and effectively with executive management teams.
• ·        Demonstrated capability to identify and evaluate multiple solutions to a business problem and recommend solutions
• ·        Awareness of business practices and common business requirements and/or process documentation techniques
• ·        Competency with multiple tools to manipulate and analyze data
• ·        Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• ·        Availability for limited travel (up to 25%) for client meetings, training, and conferences
