The Lacek Group, a specialty agency of Ogilvy and Mather, is a data-driven interactive and direct marketing agency that designs and optimizes loyalty marketing programs for leading companies. We’re seeking a Senior Copywriter to join our team.
Senior Copywriters are responsible for translating marketing strategies into appropriate creative/copy recommendations. They develop and refine concepts for both print and web, and they’re comfortable both guiding and executing every piece of collateral with clarity, timeliness, and on budget.

We’re looking for someone who knows how to write a catchy line; someone who understands how to find a unique brand voice and extend it across any and all touch points with our customers; someone who thrives working with smart, energetic people; and a leader who understands how to guide, inspire and serve as a productive member of a multidisciplinary team.

As a Senior Copywriter, you will:

•     Deliver innovative creative concepts that meet client business objectives, including compelling headlines and concept position statements
•     Develop effective, brand-appropriate marketing and promotional copy for all media: print, interactive, collateral, direct mail, catalogue, out-of-home, video and occasionally broadcast
•     Develop the ability to serve as the voice for client brands
•     Establish an intimate knowledge of key brand attributes for all clients
•     Assist with brand development as needed for various clients, including taglines, positioning lines and guideline overviews
•     Respond to various administrative requests: hours tracking, staff reviews, etc.

Qualifications:

•     5+ years of copywriting experience, diversified industries preferred
•     Portfolio demonstrating strong written concepts and execution
•     Bachelor degree in related field, such as English or Journalism
•     Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•     Knowledge of marketing principles and solutions, with digital marketing experience a plus
•     Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
•     Demonstrated ability to function in a team environment as well as working autonomously
•     Proficiency in Macintosh computer applications, including Word for Mac
