McKinley Consulting is recruiting a Senior Product Owner for our client in the south metro.  This opportunity is a contract with strong potential to convert into a full-time employee position.  

The Senior Product Owner will drive and manage new development and growth opportunities, serving as the main liaison between the business teams and the IT DevOps and Customer Experience teams.  This role will represent the business needs and requirements and help drive development through collaboration with appropriate teams.  

Responsibilities will include:

Customer Support: understand business needs, strategic intent, use case and customer experience to be able to break down into user requirements, represent the business to IT and makes key decisions during development (own backlog). Project Success: owns prioritization of requests from multiple business owners and understands value, complexity and timelines to make decisions about release scope and timelines. Collaboration: drives the IT and UI/UX teams by collaboration on detailed requirements, providing clarification during development, reviewing results and making necessary decision.

Qualifications: 

A qualified candidate will have previous experience working as product owner or as a product manager including experience working within an Agile life cycle.   Must have strong convictions and be able to drive IT and Customer Experience development teams, represent business owners and make key decisions on their behalf.  Proven track record in project  management, demonstrated capability to effectively manage the product to meet business goals effectively and within budget and time constraints.
