SUMMMARY OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The senior project manager is responsible for facilitating the development and execution of projects from the launch meeting through the close-out meeting. They work closely with team members to ensure that each department has ample time and correct information to complete the project.
 
Their objective is to ensure the project is completed on time, on budget and meets the quality standards of both the client and Hanley Wood.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Project /Practice Management
•           Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large scale projects.
•           Maintain deliverables across projects.
•           Minimize exposure and risk across multiple projects.
Project Accounting
•           Determine appropriate plotting though to revenue recognition.
•           Integrate financial data for multiple projects.
•           Analyze profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization across projects.
•           Address elevated revenue issues when they arise.
Financial Management
•           Accurately forecast revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilization across projects.
Business Development
•           Identify partnership opportunities and capitalizes on "add-on" sales opportunities across projects.
•           Assist in the identification of strategic accounts.
Communication
•           Serve as leader for internal team meetings.
•           Confront issues openly and quickly.
•           Effectively communicate relevant project/practice information to superiors and peers in other practices.
•           Tactfully communicate sensitive information.
Technical Understanding
•           Proven experience with digital projects in an agency model.
 
Leadership
•           Challenge others to develop as leaders while clarifying roles and responsibilities.
•           Pursue excellence in all aspects of business.
•           Possess the expert knowledge to identify opportunities for change and the ability to convey the need for change.
•           Build expert knowledge in our industry and conveys knowledge to others.
 
Teamwork
•           Evoke creative and innovative thinking from team members while helping them to bring to fruition.
•           Help determine new, creative ways to employ teams on projects and distribute responsibilities.
•           Work across the discipline, sharing lessons learned and best practices.
 
Internal Operations
•           Easily recognize areas for internal improvement and work with the Director of Project Management to develop plans for implementation.
•           Lend expertise to internal teams and task forces.
•           Review the status reports of team members across projects and addresses issues as appropriate.
•           Comply with and enforces standard policies and procedures.

•           Five years minimum experience in an agency project management role
•           Two years minimum experience with digital projects
•           Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
•           Skilled in Microsoft Project
EDUCATION AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
•           B.S. or B.A. degree
