Job Description:

Overview:

Developing content for blog posts, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Vimeo. Assist in the implementation and continual development of the daily and long term needs of Social Media Strategy.
                                                                                                                                                                     

Responsibilities:

  • Researching and authoring unique content

  • Develop content for Famous Dave’s social media channels including but not limited to: blog posts, Facebook Posts, Tweets, YouTube Videos and Vimeo Videos

15%

  • Assist the Social Media Marketer with daily social media related tasks including: Monday morning social media report, content postings, content production (filming, editing etc).

20%

  • Assist in the development and implementation social media strategy

10%

  • Identify relevant blogs and social media sites to reach out to in order to build the presence and footprint of Famous Dave’s.

10%

  • Monitor social media channels

25%

  • Assist in producing short videos/podcasts

10%

  • Assist with various special projects within the department as needed.

5%

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school or GED required.

 
Skills/Competencies/Certifications:

  • Ability to work well within a fast-paced creative environment, required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, required
  • Social media expert and digital native, required
  • Microsoft Office 2010 proficient, required
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines and multiple requests, required
  • Demonstrated abilities in iMovie, iLife, iWork, Creative Suite 5, HTML, CSS, Javascript highly preferred.
