The Opportunity: We are seeking a Social Media/Public Relations Manager to nurture a strong industry network, support recruitment, increase awareness, and develop an enviable corporate image by executing communication programs. Under supervision of the Director of Marketing Communications, the PR Manager will also:
·         Compose engaging articles, interview influential individuals and create demos and videos on consumer mobile, desktop and social application marketing
·         Research and report on timely and accurate industry trends
·         Build relationships with thought leaders to grow awareness and generate traffic/leads
·         Build readerships by understanding the audience and being the expert
·         Understand publishing for SEO optimization and use keyword trends to publish articles for the most impact
·         Learn and utilize web/publishing tools and internet applications
 
Requirements:
·         Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, MassComm or a related discipline is required Master’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing is a plus
·         2 years of experience in an active role which leveraged social media is preferred
·         Demonstrated use of social media is required
·         Demonstrated interest in consumer technology, especially marketing applications and devices
