Responsibilities 

Interactive Marketing is looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst with a proven record of requirements definition and solution recommendation.  This individual will play a key role on the Site Implementation team and reports to the Director, Site Implementation.  This position:

  • Leads and participates on team of internal and sometimes external stakeholders to analyze, document, and validate business functional, non-functional and project requirements. This work includes documenting the difference between existing and future processes and data, as related to online Web environment.
  • Leads and participates in scope breakdown of interactive projects from goals/objectives to requirements and needs.
  • Partners with Director of Interactive Marketing's business leader to gain access to business needs and goals, and translates those in the required documentation.
  • Determines impact of requirements on business and technology process and data, products, applications, forms, communications, marketing materials, web content, etc.
  • Interviews all relevant stakeholders, subject matter experts and third party vendors to identify and document the current state of the existing website or project.
  • Develops detailed business user requirements, workflow procedures, business rules and data modeling to convey the recommended future point of arrival site.
  • Keeps project team and project manager apprised of progress, issues and risks.
  • Acts as a liaison between all appropriate Interactive Marketing team members and Tech partners.
  • Proactively and effectively manages all key project documentation related to business process, changes.
  • Participates in internal and external meetings with business partners and vendors.
  • Works with other departments, including Technology, to review business and systems requirements, process or systems design, plans for build/test/post-implementation to ensure successful implementation and execution for the business.
  • Participates in user acceptance, regression and error testing. Assists QA manager in the development of test plans, test data requirements, test cases, expected and actual test results.
  • Role may be expanded or concentrated according to specific project needs.

 Required Qualifications 

  • Required -Minimum of 7 years experience with business operations or systems development, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working with asset management or financial services websites a plus.
  • Abilities/Skills - High level of computer literacy with spreadsheets, word processing and database software and/or business systems (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, VISIO)
  • Well developed communication skills- oral, written, listening. Good analytical and negotiation skills, and close attention to detail. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead, facilitate, and organize. Must have excellent leadership, interpersonal and motivation skills.
  • Change Management – Accepts and adapts to change as directed; understands change is a constant and necessary path for improvement and growth. Questions the status quo, personal work processes and the work environment.
  • Leadership– Exchanges information with appropriate people to complete work.  Represents the company and department in a positive light.  Embraces entrepreneurial spirit in work through recognizing and capitalizing on opportunities and challenging the status quo.
  • Organizing - Can marshal resources (people, funding, material, and support) to get things done; can orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal; uses resources effectively and efficiently; arranges information and files in a useful manner. Experience working with technology vendors a must.
  • Problem Solving– Solves difficult problems with effective solutions; asks good questions and probes all fruitful sources for answers; can see underlying or hidden problems and patterns; is excellent at honest analysis; looks beyond the obvious and doesn’t stop at the first answers. 
  • Financial Services & asset management industry experience a plus, but not required.
