Equus Computer Systems

We are currently seeking a  Senior Graphic Designer at our corporate headquarters in Minnetonka, MN.  This is a great opportunity for a candidate with solid work history and a minimum of 2 years experience in Web/Graphic Design. 

Primary responsibilities include:

• Responsible for proactive development of relevant content for company web and e-commerce sites.
• Collects, selects, and edits content for sites.
• Work with Product Marketing Managers to continually update and enhance the content and navigational flow of the websites.
• Works with graphic design and development tools including HTML/CSS/JQUERY.
• Ensures that web site materials are accurate, current, unduplicated and positioned correctly within the site.
• Designs solutions that create a consistent image. 
• Provides graphics for the web development team to use.
• Manages digital product images and standards of images used on the website and print collateral.
• Leads product design projects such as placement of logos, color selection, logo design, bezel design etc.
• Provides design solutions for marketing collateral and oversees the execution of the literature. 
• Advises on the most cost effective methods.
• Develops the creative concept, selects the art direction of photography, layout and execution of the ad. 
• Manages all packaging, design and print projects. 
• Product photography

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or 5 or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least two years of experience in Web/Graphic Design.
• Must possess strong knowledge of HTML, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver/Indesign, CSS and JavaScript.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Capacity to multitask under pressure.
• Must be a self-starter with an excellent work ethic.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Background in photography
