Reporting Relationships:
The Sr. Program Marketing Manager – Paid Search and Affiliate Marketing reports to the Assistant VP of Marketing.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop overall interactive advertising strategy with ability to measure investment over time (ROI) and optimize accordingly

  • Oversee all aspects of Paid Search Marketing including strategy development, agency partnership, budget/ROI strategies, optimization, testing and reporting.

  • Manage Display/Banner advertising strategy

  • Manage Mobile advertising strategy 

  • Partner with SEO leadership to ensure synergies between paid search and SEO.

  • Budget management and communication with finance.

  • Collaborate with programmatic marketing leaders to design product level campaigns

  • Develop systems for rapid learning and consistent optimization of bidding, creative and landing pages.

  • Work with SEO leader to proliferate landing pages to drive relevance through conversion optimization (CO).

  • Manage Pay Per Lead channel (large affiliates & lead aggregators) to enable scale with quality.  This includes, but is not limited to:  instituting buying strategies and predictive modeling to gain buying power; managing vendors for flexibility and optimization across multiple factors, vendor/agency contract negotiations, and ensuring 3rd party compliance monitoring to ensure our brand is properly represented.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a BA/BS in marketing or an analytical major like math or economics. MBA a plus.

  • 3+ years experience in Paid Search advertising, 5+ years marketing experience.

  • Experience managing automated bid management solutions

  • Strong background in PPC campaign architecture and optimization

  • Strong background writing effective PPC ads

  • Strong understanding of Google's Quality Score and how to optimize for it

  • Comfortable with agency/vendor relationships and contract negotiations
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented

  • Strong analytical / problem solving / math skills
  • Comfortable with Pivot tables and Excel in general.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Proven ability to think strategically and critically to synthesize and integrate data from multiple sources.

  • Strong self-starter with proven project management skills.

  • A commitment to maintaining the highest degree of business and personal ethics
