Description:

Main Purpose of Job: Write and/or update formal test plans and reports per standard format under guidance from engineering. The audiences for this documentation include engineering, management, regulatory, and FDA. Main Job Duties / Responsibilities  •Update Test Plans per engineering mark-ups. •Write Test Reports per standard report format using formal test results/data. •Manage electronic configuration of documents and oversee the review and approval process of test plans and reports.

Job Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS Knowledge/Education: B.A. in Technical Communications or related field Job Experience: 2 - 4 years of technical writing or related field. Skills/Competencies: •Excellent writing and editing skills using MSWord •Excellent people and communications skills •Detail orientation and good organization skills

PREFERENCES Skills/Competencies: •Exposure to on-line documentation systems •Coursework in electronics, biology, anatomy and physiology, and/or medicine •Experience working in a regulated environment.
