Multi-Tech is currently looking for a UI/UX Front End Web Designer/Developer to work in our IT department.  This position will be responsible to:

·         Analyze and understand business and application requirements, prioritize and identify user tasks and goals

·         Develop site maps, wireframes, content audits, competitive analysis, interaction flow diagrams and user personas

·         Become an advocate for the user and usability centric issues

·         Develop HTML 4 & 5 / CSS driven web pages from PSDs

·         Develop innovative solutions for a multitude of platforms including Android, iPhone, Facebook, Twitter and other emerging technologies

·         Provide team members with recommendations for usable, well designed features while keeping budget and timeline in mind

·         Establish, monitor, and evaluate key website performance indicators

·         Monitor and manage constant branding, messaging, and user experience across all Multi-Tech domains (.com, .net, Support Portal, etc.)

Qualifications:

·         Adapt to a wide range of project types and timeframes

·         Quickly and efficiently identify and prioritize requirements across multiple projects

·         Possess and exhibit a strong affinity for, and attention to, detail

·         Possess a natural inclination towards user experience and general usability, ensuring quality accordingly

·         Think creatively and on-the-fly, easily changing gears in order to provide varied approaches as necessary

·         Think critically and creatively

·         Communicate clearly and concisely

·         Strong organization and time management skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

·         3+ years experience as a front end developer, information architect, interaction designer or related role

·         Experience with Flash, ActionScript, XHTML/CSS, Javascript, jQuery

·         Proficiency in a variety of design tools including Adobe Creative Suite, OmniGraffle, Visio or equivalent

·         Experience doing graphic design and creating actual user interfaces

·         Ability to dive into a Object-Oriented programming concepts PHP, ASP, ASP.net, Ruby on Rails

·         Mobile Web Development

·         Advanced Knowledge in SEO and Internet Marketing

·         Familiarity with WordPress Theme Development
