Join the user experience team of one of the most successful digital agencies in the Twin Cities. Atomic Playpen (AP) is looking for a UX Designer/Information to play a key role in insuring that AP is focused on the most intuitive online experiences for target audiences.
In this role you will create or contribute to the following types of deliverables:
+ Feature lists
+ Personas/use cases
+ Functional requirements
+ Work flows/user flows
+ Site maps
+ Annotated wireframes
+ Paper prototypes
+ High fidelity prototypes
+ Usability test plans/moderator guides
+ Competitive/comparative analyses
You will develop the user experience approach for projects that includes:
+ Assessing content taxonomy
+ Developing personas
+ Brainstorming functionality and flow
+ Building site maps and task flows
+ Creating wireframes
+ Annotate all functional requirements
+ Contribute requirements documents
+ Contribute to testing plans and analysis.
As the project move through the other phases of AP’s process, you will stay involved in all reviews and transition moments to insure that all aspects of the experience’s structure, flow and functionality are accurately relayed to the design and development teams and to document any additional experience requirements that arise throughout the project process.
Required Skills
+ 2-3 years experience creating intuitive user experiences and documenting them via wireframes, site maps, flowcharts and/or other UX documentation techniques.
+ 2+ years of professional writing experience creating compelling internal or audience-facing documents (or equivalent experience).
+ Proven ability to research, organize and simplify complex information structures, taxonomy and categorization of information.
+ A solid working knowledge of how technology platforms, CMS and database technology impact user experiences.
+ 1-2 years experience designing online experiences is a plus.
+ Ability to demonstrate knowledge of UX trends.
+ Proven track record of internal or external client relations.
+ Strong communication skills.
+ Willingness to learn and grow.
+ Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office, and Visio or Omnigraffle.
