Web Developer in St. Cloud, MN or Minneapolis, MN.
Under direct supervision, designs and builds moderately complex web pages using a variety of software applications, techniques, and tools. Responsible for the design, development, and coding of the user interface of the external Web sites
Designs and develops user interface features, site animation, and special effects elements. Contributes to the design group's efforts to enhance the appeal of the organization's online offerings. Designs the website to support the organization's strategies and goals relative to external communications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Serve as web developer on corporate and divisional projects to analyze, define requirements, design, code, test, and implement new and/or modified content and functionality (CSS, web graphics, video, HTML prototypes, wire frames, and visual interfaces and integration of web-based applications) for the WKFCS websites.
• Design, code, and maintain high quality user-centric Web interfaces and functionality that meet business objectives as well as usability and corporate standards. This includes leading and/or participating in quality assurance and testing activities.
• Integrate web information into backend databases and third party software for sales tracking and email marketing efforts.
• Participate in regular content and functionality pushes to the web, including testing and validation, troubleshooting any issues, and following the change management processes.
• Support and maintain efficient and organized file structure, documentation, status reports, and project milestone reporting.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience of 3-5 years’ as a web developer.
  • HTML and CSS knowledge required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working in complex and successful corporate web site environment with multiple integrated backend applications, designing and coding dynamically displayed Web content using ASP and/or ASP.Net. 
  • Experience coding user interfaces for Web applications and Web pages using JavaScript, XML, cookies, session variables and related client side technologies.
  • Web development technical skills including HTML, ASP, JavaScript, C++, etc.
  • Understanding of web content management systems and direct experience with the set-up of CMS work-flows a plus.
  • Experience with Web site interoperability, architecture, data flow, user interfaces, and intuitive navigation schemes.
  • Experience creating and designing to complex style guide standards.
  • The ability to translate technical requirements, standards and terminology into terms that non-technical business owners can understand, as well as take business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
  • The ability to look at the “bigger picture” and anticipate how one change can have a ripple effect across a site.
