The Technology team is seeking a multi-talented Web Developer to join our agile development team. The ideal candidate has both web design and web development experience.  This individual has: outstanding html, CSS and jQuery skills; the knowledge to create clean, semantic markup; graphic design experience and an understanding of User Experience best practices. Your role will be fast paced as you continually bring new products to life on the web.

Every website we launch, we measure. If a website doesn’t move the masses to action or persuade consumers to purchase a product, it didn’t work. Are you uncomfortable with that or excited by it? The former need not apply. But the latter?  Let’s talk.  Your responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with the development team, designers and business stakeholders to produce e-commerce web sites for direct response campaigns
• Produce semantic html based on PhotoShop documents
• Design production and support
• User experience documentation and recommendations
• Support and inform A/B testing based on conversion performance 
• Content updates via content management system
• Remain current with web based trends and technologies
• Frequent interaction with stakeholders to ensure the finished product exceeds expectations
• Be a team player in our agile development environment by assisting other developers as needed

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS and jQuery
• Ability to turn a PhotoShop file into a functional website
• Adobe Creative Suite
• Capable of writing semantic markup
• Flawless organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Awareness of User Experience best practices
• Ability to make strategic decisions based on data/analytics
• An understanding of the Agile development process
• Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization best practices would be a plus
