Website Marketing Manager (301) 608-2115 Acorn Online and Acacia Catalog  

The Website Marketing Manager will work with merchants, marketing team, CSM provider to populate and optimize websites for improved conversion and sales.  In addition, this individual will participate in the planning and execution of the email campaigns for both brands. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with internal and external resources to improve productivity of web traffic.  Collaborate with merchants in selecting featured products, promotional highlights, enhancing product content.
  • Enter new items on both web sites
  • Manage content in item database (SDR) and catalog proofing
  • Make changes requested by merchandising and inventory
  • Image management. Crop, resize, & basic edits with Photoshop
  • Regular reporting and analysis of site analytics
  • Homepage content (optimization and testing)
  • Regular refreshing of category results sort order
  • Cross-sells on product pages
  • Development and testing of Lefter Ads, Home page ads, Cart ads
  • Implement email acquisition efforts on site
  • Identify opportunities for “Find more xx” links on appropriate product pages (e.g. See more Made in the USA items)
  • Coordinate improved franchise content where needed and identify opportunities for additional product content (e.g.video of spinning product in motion)
  • Daily, weekly, monthly reporting functions
  • Work with marketing consultants to implement SEO, SEM, and other on site marketing. (currently Three Deep Marketing)
  • Report web site problems and engage service providers to find solutions

  • Email campaigns responsibilities:
    • Work with Director of Web Marketing to execute planned batch-and-blast campaigns and some series of welcome and triggered campaigns.
    • Create HTML from provided art files.
    • Setup campaigns in email campaign tool.
    • Run reports and analyze results.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years web analytics and e-mail campaign experience;
  • Excellent quantitative & analytical skills;
  • Excellent communication, both written and oral, combined with superb interpersonal communication skills;
  • Strong knowledge of web technology, HTML, web content management systems, and search engines;
  • Great internal and external customer service skills;
  • Work collaboratively and effectively in cross-functional teams and with a wide range of personalities;
  • Bachelor’s degree, prefer business or marketing-related field;
  • Good, clear vision and hearing with or without the aid of corrective devices; and
  • Must lift and manipulate up to 20 pounds occasionally, including lifting overhead, standing on ladders, etc.
