Here’s how: Bios: John Barton Prior to joining Sight, John served in leadership roles for 10 years at Internet Broadcasting where he served as creative director of both the Web development team and TV promotions group. He was also a founding partner of Mindframe, a pioneering interactive and Web-development company in Minneapolis. John earned a bachelors degree in applied design and visual communications from the University of Minnesota and a master of business administration degree from the University of St. Thomas. He has served on the faculty of the College of Visual Arts, St. Paul, and is now a regular contributor on marketing issues to MinnesotaBusiness.coms Experts Forum.
Tom Masterman Masterman recently joined the Institute after more than a decade of experience in media. He spent the past nine years at Internet Broadcasting, a firm that provides digital media solutions for local television stations. There he served as Director of Research & Metrics, managing all aspects of reporting and analytics for IBs network of television Websites. Masterman also provided research support for Internet Broadcastings advertising network and market development group. Prior to Internet Broadcasting, Masterman was an Emmy nominated television producer at WCVB-TV, the ABC affiliate in Boston. Masterman holds a Communication degree from Boston College, and an MBA from the University of Minnesota. A Massachusetts native, Masterman moved to the Twins Cities in 2001, and currently lives in St. Paul. When not starring at his computer screen, he enjoys playing tennis, and attempting to golf and ski.
