In this key role, you'll:
- Represent the client's interests at all internal project meetings;
- Be accountable for delivery of all client web site projects on time, on target, and within budget;
- Coordinate the activities of Liaison's onsite, dedicated web development team;
- Initiate all website work and complete all project summaries and reports for the client;
- Conduct assessment meetings and lead brainstorming sessions for relevant website projects;
- Ensure compliance with the client's brand, style and logo guidelines.
 
Background & Experience:
You'll be a good fit if you have:
- Four years of account services with a web focus or web project management experience (required). Please note that this is not an IT, coding or web development role.;
- Advertising, marketing, multimedia or Internet web development agency experience preferred. Multiple types of marketing and web experiences a big plus;
- Strong knowledge of website development processes, coding, procedures, tools, strategies, trends and technologies.
 
Hard Skills:

- Windows literate with a strong working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications;
- Familiar with HTML coding, databases, e-commerce, social media, and other advanced technologies related to Internet development.

  • Work with external consultants and internal stakeholders and IT resource to develop a detailed plan, including timeline and cost, for redeveloping the AWTX websites.
  • Implementation of above plan
  • A key part of this will be development and population of a product and marketing database, the ultimate repository of marketing data across AWTX. This will involve understanding not only Avery Weigh-Tronix’s products, industries and applications they service, but also what products pair with which others and accessories to form a more complex system. Also crucial is understanding the customer’s needs and purchase drivers.
  • Other key components of the website revamp will include ground-up SEO, accommodation of multiple languages, creating a simple, easy-to-use navigation and working with the rest of the marcomms department to develop rich content to populate the site.
  • It will also be important to have knowledge of Avery Weigh-Tronix’s order entry and fulfilment processes and how they will influence any e-commerce application.
  • The position is also responsible for updates, SEO and ongoing refinements of the current websites.
  • The position is also responsible for coordinating the various Google adwords campaigns Avery Weigh-Tronix runs globally and ensuring that we are getting maximum value from our expenditure.
  • Regular reporting of website reporting against key KPIs and adjusting the sites, as necessary.
  • Manage our current external web agencies and work to identify new partners for the redevelopment project.
  • It may be determined that the best way to execute the project is to develop the site in house and this position would be in charge of hiring and managing any developers or e-marketing support personnel.
  • The Web Development Manager will also be an active member of the Marketing management team and will be expected to work with Product Managers and the rest of the Marcomms team to formulate the commercialisation and communication strategy for our products and services.
  • There will be travel involved, primarily between North America and Europe.
