The World Economic Forum has stated that work flexibility, including telework, is “one of the biggest drivers of transformation” in the workplace. While this shift is underway, companies often find they need to adapt their culture to better support remote workers. Teams can no longer rely on impromptu meetings or hallway discussions to communicate quickly with the entire group. Workers in different time zones can contribute hours or even days of lag time to a project timeline. Company social events and happy hour discussions help spread knowledge across teams, but these events are rare for remote workers. In addition, isolation can sometimes cause remote workers to miss out on opportunities for advancement.

How do we use technology to connect as a team spread across the country or even across the globe? What are some of the strategies that help remote workers feel connected to the mission of the larger organization? What are new technologies helping people succeed as remote workers?

We hope to see you on June 14 for an intimate, member-only conversation on this relevant topic for the industry. Seating is limited to 40, so sign up early!
